What is the probability of landing on an odd number and then landing on a number greater than 5?

    For any question like this you take the number of ways an event can happen (odd number) and divide by the total number of possibilities (sides of a die). If you assume a six sided die there are 3 odd numbers, 1,3, 5. And 6 total sides, so 3/6 = 1/2 or 50%.
