A basket contains apples and oranges. some are ripe and some are not. 30% of the fruits are apples and 50% of the fruits are ripe. If 25% of the fruits are ripe apples. what percentage of the fruits are oranges that are not ripe?

    Since 50% are ripe, and you know that 25% are ripe apples, you also can assume 5% of apples aren't ripe. From that you know that 50% + 5% is ripe oranges, and apples. So 45% are not ripe oranges
