    Brian is 18 yr old and Charlie is 9 yr old

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let age of Brian be B and that of Charlie be C,

    Now, B=2*C and also three years after their ages are B+3 and C+3 respectively

    (B+3) + (C+3) = 33

    Put B=2C

    2C+3+C+3=33

    3C=27

    C=9

    Now B=2*9=18

    Brian is 18 yr old and Charlie is 9 yr old
