Ben, Fran and Stan are posting funny memes online. Ben's funny memes got 40% more likes than Stan's. Fran's got 20% fewer likes than Stan's. By what percentage did Ben get more likes than Fran?

    Benny got 40% more likes than Stans's

    Fran got 20% fewer likes than Stan's

    Let x % be that of Stan's

    Then Ben's likes would be x+40 %

    and Fran's likes would be x-20%

    Difference = x+40 - (x-20) = 60

    Hence put to gether we can say that

    Ben got 40 - (-20) = 60% more likes than Fran
