The actual area is 45000 time the area of the map

    Step-by-step explanation:

Area of triangle = (1/2) (base x height)

    1 yard = 3 foot

Base of the actual triangle = 100 yards = 300ft

Height of the actual triangle = 50 yards = 150ft.

    Area of the actual triangle = (1/2) (300 x 150)

    = 45000 square ft

Base of the triangle on the map = 2ft

Height of the triangle on the map = 1ft

    Area of the triangle on the map = (1/2) (2 x 1)

    = 1 square ft.

The actual area is 45000 time the area of the map
