In the Cartesian plane, the general standard equation for a circle with center (p, q) and radius r is

    (x-p) ² + (y-q) ² = r²

Here we have (p, q) = (2,1) and r=8 so our equation is

    (x-2) ² + (y-1) ² = 8²

I guess we evaluate the 8².

    Answer: (x-2) ² + (y-1) ² = 64
