    -x + 2y = 6

    6y = x + 18

    Let's rewrite these equations.

    -x + 2y = 6

    6y - x = 18

    If we multiply the second equation by - 1 we can add both of them.

    -x + 2y = 6

    -6y + x = - 18

    Add:

    -x + (-6y) + 2y + x = 6 + (-18)

    2y - 6y + x - x = 6 - 18

    -4y = - 12

    y = - 12/-4

    y = 3

    Substitute y in the equation:

    -x + 2y = 6

    -x + 2.3 = 6

    -x + 6 = 6

    -x = 6 - 6

    -x = 0

    x = 0

    Option B.
