The length of a rectangle is four times it width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 70 ft, find its length and width

    length = 4w

    width = w

    perimeter = 2 (l+w)

    70 = 2 (4w+w)

    70=8w+2w

    70=10w

    10. 10.

    w = 7ft

    l = 7*2

    =56
