    1. 3 (2x+1)

    = (3) (2x+1)

    = (3) (2x) + (3) (1)

    =6x+3

    2. 2 (3x-2)

    = (2) (3x+-2)

    = (2) (3x) + (2) (-2)

    =6x-4

    3. 4 (x+1)

    = (4) (x+1)

    = (4) (x) + (4) (1)

    =4x+4

    4. - 2 (x+3)

    = (-2) (x+3)

    = (-2) (x) + (-2) (3)

    =-2x-6
