All the animals have 4 legs, so first we find out how many animals there are by dividing 1,116 by 4.

    so 1116/4=279

Now we also know that there are twice as many cows as goats. This means that 1/3 of the animals are goats. So we divide by the number of animals by 3.

    279/3=93
