Six runners are entered in a race. Assume there are no ties. In how many ways can first and second places be awarded?

Follow up question: Karla and Jason are playing a game with number cubes. Each number cube is numbered 1 to 6. They roll both number cubes. If the product is a multiple of 3, Jason wins. If the product is a multiple of 4, Karla wins. Is this game fair or unfair?
