4 (x+2) - 17 = 35 what is the value of x?

This is a fairly easy problem, actually. Take all your options and do the equation (which is 2 (x+2) - 17) until it gets to 35. I recommend you use a calculator, but you can do it on paper if you need to. If you don't have answer options, I'm happy to work it out with you!
