    120 miles

    Step-by-step explanation:

    let m = the number of miles

    $39 +.3m = $45 +.25m

    subtract 39 from each side

    .3m = $6 +.25m

    subtract. 25m from both sides

    .05m = $6

    divide both sides by. 05

    m = 120
