The farm shop had 68 small bags of bird treats and 39 large bags of bird treats on a shelf. If Jill buys 5 small bags and 1 large bag, how many more small bags than large bags of bird treats are left on the shelf?

    There are 25 more small bags than large bags left

    25 more small bags than large bags are left. you have to subtract 5 from the total number of small bags there are and 1 from the number of large bags there are, and then you have to subtract the number of small bags left from the number of large bags left to get how many more small bags there are.
