Start by moving the like terms by each other. I started by moving the whole numbers together like this:

    5-2

Next I took the C's and put those together after the whole numbers.

    5-2-x+2x

I then took the remaining numbers and put those together on the end.

    5-2-x+2x+xy-3xy

Add the like terms together and you get your final answer which equals:

    3+x-2xy
