    8 students scored 100, so net score = 8*100 = 800

    5 students received 60, so net score = 5*60 = 300

    Remaining number of student s = 25-5-8 = 12 students

    Let the score of each of these students be x, so the net score = 12*x = 12x

    So total score = 800 + 300 + 12 x

    Average score = (800+300+12x) / 25

    Average score = 83

    Therefore, we equate both the average scores

    (800+300+12x) / 25 = 83

    1100 + 12x = 25*83 = 2,075

    12x = 2,075-1,100

    12x = 975

    x = 81.25

    Average score of the remaining students = 81.25
