    Minus 4 from both sides

    3e^ (2x) = 20

    divide both sides by 3

    e^ (2x) = 20/3

    take the ln of both sides

    2x=ln (20/3)

    divide both sides by 2 or times 1/2

    x = (1/2) (ln (20/3))

    if yo use calculator

    x≈0.94856
