The area of a circle is 49 pi m2 what is the radius?

    So area is equal to pi (r) ^2. Plug the number into A and solve for r

    49 (pi) = pi) (r) ^2

    Divide out the pi and you get r^2=49

    Find the square root of 49 which would give you + - 7. It's important to remember 7 is both positive and negative
