A person's emotional quotient (EQ) is found by multiplying emotional age by 100 and dividing by chronological age. Using this information, if a 21 yr old person has an EQ of 97 what is that person's emotional age?

    97=100x/21

    Cross multiply to solve.

    100x=97 (21)

    100x=2037

    X=20.37 years or to round 20 years
