    D. 2x^2 + 6x + 4 = 0

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The quadratic equation 2x²+6x+4 = 0 solutions will have opposite integers as shown.

    On factorising:

    2x²+6x+4 = 0

    (2x²+2x) + (4x+4) = 0

    Bringing out the common factor

    2x (x+1) + 4 (x+1) = 0

    (2x+4) + (x+1) = 0

    2x+4 = 0 and x+1 = 0

    2x = - 4 and x = - 1

    x = - 1/2 and - 1

    As we can see, the solution to the quadratic equation gave us two different integers. Note that the remaining functions will give the same values as the solutions.
