    1/4hr=1applicant

    ? = 6applicants

    1/4*6

    6/4

    1/1/2

    60mins + 30mins=90mins

    1hr=60mins

    ? = 90mins

    90/60=3/2

    1hr 30mins or 1/1/2 hrs

    1/4 of an hour = 25 min.

    6 * 25min. = 150min

    1 hour = 60 min.

    150min. / 60min = 2.5 Hours

    Therefore Ellen would have had to schedule 2 hours and 30min to meet all the applicants.
