    56.96 square inches

    Step-by-step explanation:

The amount of paper is the surface area. To find the surface area, calculate the area of each shape and add it together, A pyramid has 1 square and 4 triangles in its net,

    Area of square is A=s*s=4.6*4.6 = 21.16

    Area of a triangle is A = 1/2 b*h = 1/2 (4.6) (4) = 9.2.

There are four equal triangles so together there area is 4*9.2 = 36.8.

Add the square to it and you have the surface area of the pyramid.

    36.8 + 21.16 = 57.96
