Find the value of the lesser root of x2 - 7x + 12 = 0.

    to find the roots either you apply the formula or you will calculate which two numbers have their sum = - 7 & their product 12

    It's easy x'=-3 & x" = - 4, which are the roots of the quadratic equation.

    The lesser root between - 3 & - 4 is - 3
