Why should you try to make an equivalent fraction with a multiple of ten as your denominator

    maybe you would do that because 10 divides by multiple things and is a number with a zero as the 2nd digit so you can multiply it by 10 or 100 or 1000 and add a zero to the numerator to make it bigger
