At carter's birthday party his mom made a cake in a rectangular shape. The length of cake is 8cm and width of cake is 6cm. If she wants to add 1cm of cream around the cake, what will be the perimeter and area of the rectangle cake?

    If you're adding a cm to all sides, the length becomes 10cm (because you add 1 cm to each side) and the width is 8cm for the same reason. 10+8+10+8 = 36 cm for the perimeter. 10*8=80 cm squared for the area.
