Marie needed to by some dog food for her five dogs. Each pound of dog food cost $5.17. Marie brought 9.5 pounds of dog food. How much did Marie pay for the dog food?

    If it is $5.17 a pound u would need to multiply 9.5x5.17=50.15$ I double checked on my phone and it said 49.115
