    40cm and

    80cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given

    Sides = 10cm

    Perimeter of the first square = 4a

    = 4 x 10 = 40cm

    For the second square, the sides are increased by 2 times

    So 2 x 10 = 20cm

    Therefore,

    Perimeter = 4 x 20 = 80cm

    The perimeter of the second square is twice that of the first square
