Solve the inequality.

4x - 8 > 2x - 6

I hate these questions. I know how to do them, I just don't want to do them.

To combine like terms do this:

move - 8 to the right side of the sign (becomes + 8)

move 2x to the left side of the sign (becomes - 2x)

    4x-2x > - 6+8

    do the math

    2x > 2

    divide 2 by both sides

    x > 1
