    I only have the answers to 2 & 3

    2. 12/30

to get a denominator of 30 from 5, you multiply it by 6

so to get the numerator, you would do the same

    2 x 6 = 12

    resulting in 12/30

    3. the 25/40

    36/96 simplified is 6/16

    25/40 simplified is 5/8

multiply the numerator and denominator by 2 to 5/8 to get a common denominator

    6/16 < 10/16

    or an easier way is

    36/96 = 0.375

    25/40 = 0.625

    0.375 < 0.625

either way you still get the same answer
