    length l=23; width w = 5

    Step-by-step explanation:

    56=2*w+2*l

    82=2 * (2*w) + 2 * (l+8) = 4*w+2*l+16

    equation 2 - equation 1 = 82-56 = 2*w + 16 = 26

    2*w=26-16=10

    w=5

    56-2*w=2*l

    56-10=46=2*l then l = 46/2 = 23
