    ducks * legs + buffalo * legs = total legs

    x*2 + (15-x) * 4 = 46

    distribute

    2x + 60 - 4x = 46

    -2x + 60 = 46

    subtract 60 from each side

    -2x = - 14

    divide by - 2

    x = 7

    There are 7 ducks

    15-7 = 8

    there are 8 buffalo
