    Well, the normal force and the force of gravity are equal, however, they travel in opposite directions. Mass never changes and temperature has to do with the ambient environment and the object itself. That eliminates 3 and 4. The force of gravity pulls downwards as we see it, so that eliminates option 1. Your answer is option 2.
