    hello:

    9x^2+12x+4=0

    a = 9 b = 12 c = 4

    the discriminant Δ = b² - 4ac = 12² - 4 (9) (4) = 144 - 144 = 0

    x1 = x2 = - b/2a = - 12/18 = - 2/3

    the real root is : - 2/3
