    So 3/4w=9

    clear fraction

    multiply both sies by 4/3 to clear fraciton

    4/3 times 3/4 times w=9 times 4/3

    12/12 times w=36/3

    w=12

    another way is 3/4w=9

    multiply both sies by 4

    3w=36

    divide both siedes by 3

    w=12
