Write an equation in standard form for a line that passes through (2,2) and (0, - 3).

    First find the slope:

    (-3-2) / (0-2) = - 5/-2=5/2

    So then y=5/2x+b

    When x=0, then the y-coordinate with that is the y-intercept.

    So the answer is y=5/2x-3.
