Solve the system of equations below.

4x+1=16

2x + 3y = - 2

    4x+1=16 is 3.75 because you subtract 1 to get the x value alone then you get 4x=15 then you divide the whole equation by 4 to get the x alone and it equals 3.75.

    2x+3y=-2 add + 2 to both sides and you get 2x+3y+2 which then the sum of the opposites is 0
