    64 pi. Half of 16 is 8 and 8 squared is 64.

To get the answer divide the diameter by two, so you can get the radius. So plug it into the formula A=π 8²=π (8²) = 64π = 200.96 and for multiplying pie I just used 3.14 instead the entire number so I could get it by having the decimal in the hundredths place.
