    6x-4y=-14

    2 (-3x-3y=12)

    6x-4y=-14

    -6x-6y=24

    -10y=10

    Divide both sides by 10

    -1y=1 divide by - 1

    y=-1

    6x-4 (-1) = -14

    6x+4=-14

    -4 - 4

    6x=-18

    Divide both sides by 6

    x=-3
