    You add 127 and 31 which gets you 158

    take 200 and minus 158 and that get you the amount of cats 42

    add 127 and 31 so you know how many kids have dogsor neither. that makes 158. the rest are cats. so you subtract your added number by the number you started with. 200-158=42. 42 cats
