What do you need to do to write a subtraction problem as an addition problem

    Well if it was for instance 5-3, you could change it to 5+-3. You could make the number you are subtracting negative. Or maybe you mean like 5-3=2 so you could do 2+3=5. basically flipping it.

    Make it one of the numbers negative. For example, if the subtraction problem is 10-3 flip the problem around to make it - 3+10. Hope this makes sense!
