    10¹ = 10 (One Zero)

    10² = 100 (Two Zeros)

    10³ = 1,000 (Three Zeros)

    10⁴ = 10,000 (Four Zeros)

    10⁵ = 100,000 (Five Zeros)

    10⁶ = 1,000,000 (Six Zeros)

    The exponent will tell you how many zeros will appear after the number 1.

    So if you have 10⁵, you can accurately predict that five zeros will appear after the number 1, as thus:

    10⁵ = 100,000
