    Answer

    72pi feet^2 or about 226 feet^2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The shape has a side, which is now found my the circumference, multiplied by the height.

    Circumference=2*pi*r

    r=3 so 6pi is the circumference

    Times the height is

    6pi*9

    54pi is the side

    now add the two surfaces left, the top and bottom, which is the area of the circle, which is found with pi*r^2

    pi*3^2 is 9pi, there is two of them so add 18pi to the 54pi, which is 72pi.

    Pi is about 3.14 so the rounded answer is 226.
