    (We already know that: x - 1/x-1 = 1 and x + 1/x + 1 = 1 there is no need of keeping them)

    (x-1/x-1) x+5/x+1 - x-2/x-1 (x+1/x+1)

    = x + 5/x + 1 - x - 2/x - 1

    = x²/x + 5/x + x/x - x²/x - 2/x - x/x

    = x² + 5 + x - x² - 2 - x

    = 5 - 2

    = 3
