A large map of the United States uses a scale of 2cm = 2.5km. On the map, the distance between two cities is 1 meter. What is the actual distance between the two cities (in kilometers) ?

    1 meter = 100 cm.

    2.5km / cm = 1.25km per cm.

    100cm x 1.25 km / cm = 125 km total.
