    change 90 minutes to hours = 90 minutes * 1 hour/60 minutes = 1.5 hours

    1/2 ton / 1.5 hours = x tons / 4 hours

    use cross products

    1/2 * 4 = x * 1.5

divide by 1.5 on each side

    1/2 * 4/1.5 = x

    2/1.5=x

    4/3

    They will clear 4/3 tons
