If a person can carry 40 pounds, and a group of people want to carry 86 pounds of stuff, how many people are necessary to carry 86 pounds of stuff?

    3 people because 86 divided by 40 is 2.15, so you have to round up because if you do not they will be overloaded and they will have weight that they can not carry.
