Her estimate is reasonable. She can make 25 completed centerpieces

    Step-by-step explanation:

Estimate 20 flowers per centerpiece. 430 flowers divided by 20 flowers per centerpiece.

430 / 20 is approximately 21 centerpieces. Her estimate is reasonable.

430/20 Divide the top and bottom by 10

    43/2 is 21*2 = 42 with 1 left over 21 1/2

We know we underestimated when we rounded 17 to 20. Se we are a little under with 21.5

    Exact answer:

    430:17

    17 goes into 43 2 times (17*2 = 34 43-34 = 9 left over)

    17 goes into 90 5 time (17*5 = 85 90-85 = 5 left over)

She can make 25 completed center pieces
