    I'm not quite sure what u want, but here is what u probably wanted ...

    y = 2x + 3x - 5

    combine like terms: y = 6x - 5

    then u can graph, using 6/1 as ur slope and - 5 as ur y int.

    same thing with the other

    (-4,-1) (2,5)

    Step-by-step explanation:

    y = x^2 + 3x - 5

    y = x + 3

    Since they are both equal to y we can set them equal to each other

    x^2 + 3x - 5 = x + 3

    Subtract x from each side

    x^2 + 3x-x - 5 = x-x + 3

    x^2 + 2x - 5 = 3

    Subtract 3 from each side

    x^2 + 2x - 5-3 = 3 - 3

    x^2 + 2x - 8=0

    What 2 numbers multiply to - 8 and add to 2

    4*-2 = - 8

    4-2 = 2

    (x+4) (x-2) = 0

    Using the zero product property

    (x+4) = 0 (x-2) = 0

    x = - 4 x=2

    Now we need to find y for each x

    If x = - 4 y = - 4+3 = -1

    If x = 2 y = 2+3 = 5
