Cayden has several screws on a scale, and the scale reads 80.955g. Cayden adds 11 more screw, and the scale reads 84.81g.

What is the mass of the last screw Cayden adds?

    Find the difference of the two masses and then divide by 11 screws to find the mass of each screw, which gives you the answer.

    84.81g - 80.955g = 3.855 / 11 =.35g per screw, which would also be the mass of the last screw.
