A number is chosen at random from 1 to 50. Find the probability of not selecting a multiple of 2.

    Lets look at the number of numbers between 1 and 50 which is not a multiple of 2. Its 1, 3, 5 ... 47, 49.

    That is 25 numbers.

    So the required probability is 25/50 = 1/2 Answer
